Be Vigilant, Break The Silence!

Be Vigilant, Break The Silence!

In the midst of the various scams, food inflation and corruption in almost each and every department, India is going through an ordeal from where everything seems so dark and hopeless. A condition in which 25% population struggles for food under below poverty line status and crores of money is engulfed in scams. It's adequately clear that we don't lack money, what we lack is clarity of intentions of the incumbents . "Nothing will change" notion has so deep rooted in the minds of the people that they see no way out. It's true that dawn of prosperity and hope is yet to come but no one stops you to light a candle in  the middle of the darkness. Youth encompassing 47%of the total population  of India can prove to be one of the greatest assets to streamline the corruption menace within the country. Lets talk about light rather than cursing darkness. Lets try to find out how a common youth can  intensify anti-corruption  movements and bring more transparency in the system.
-Constitutional literacy, a much needed and a much ignored part of our education system. Presence of Preamble of Constitution on the very first page of most of the CBSE course books explains its vitality. How many of us really know the first line of the preamble? Constitution for a country is what character means to a person. It forms the ideals the country believes in. How can you  believe and implement the ideas which you don't even  know? Atleast learning the preamble of the constitution should not be seen as just a protocol rather than a necessity. Constitutional literacy is indispensable to bridge the gap between legal system and the people.

-Be the part of the system by entering into the politics. Blaming the politics by calling it dirty will not work now. In spite of the fact that majority of Indian population is under the age of 35, our political parties are flooded with old men & women who look more like pensioners rather than leaders.Active participation of the youth in political system is the need of the hour. Being the part of the system you can put forward your voice more effectively and make it heard. You can be the voice of those who don't have voice.

-Learn to ask questions. Raise your voices because your silence is weakening the roots of the democracy. Our constitution gives us the right to ask questions through RTI Act and the government is bound to answer us. Remember, nobody gives you a glass of water if you don't ask then how could you expect your government to show accountability without even asking? If you think parliament logjam should be addressed, then ask for it.If you think there should be set accountability for a particular corruption case, then ask. Write letters to the officials and the governing bodies.Recollect the fact that those were merely 2% of total population of India who fought for us and brought us freedom. We need another 2% active participants of  present population of India who are dedicated enough to bring out the change for the good of the people.Surely, Government can ignore a single letter but it can't afford to ignore 2Crore letters in the present scenario.

-Last but not the least, be conscious while you vote. Don't vote just for the sake of voting. Despite of all political turmoils, make yourself believe that your vote can make a difference. So, use it sensibly. Collect certain information about the people you are going to vote. What's their educational qualification? What is the current status of their personal assets? Do they have any criminal background? When you are equipped with the above information then you can vote for a better candidate and make a difference too by choosing good governance.
If we can't stand for our country who else will ? If we are not vigilant enough, who else will be? We all fathom that absolute transparency in the system is required. It will happen for sure when we make the ruling realize that each of their steps is been scrutinized by the ruled, the people.

Soldier!!!

There is a discipline in a soldier
You can see it when he walks,
There is honour in a soldier
You hear it when he talks,
There is courage in a soldier,
You can see it in his eyes,
There is loyalty in a soldier
That he will never compromise,
There is something in a soldier
That makes him stand apart,
There is strength in a soldier
That beats rom his heart,
A soldier isn't a title that
Any man can be hired to do,
A soldier is the soul of that man,
Buried deep inside of you,
A soldier's job isn't finished after
An 8 hour day or 40 hour a week,
A soldier is always a soldier
Even when he sleeps,
A soldier serves his country first
And his life is left behind,
A soldier has to sacrifice what
Comes first in a civilian's mind,
If you are a civillian-
I am saying this to you..
Next time you see a soldier
Remember what they do!!!!!
A soldier is the reason our land is "Home of the free"

Seeing your ignorance, it's hope which dies....

With shivering soul and downcast eyes
Will you listen if your nation cries?
It was neighbour's son who died in battle,
Your son is fine why would you rattle?
Ignore the right until you aren't wrong,
let country be weakened why make it strong?
Enjoy the silence with withered wings,
Was this the dream saw Bhagat Singh?
When names of Generals disclosed in scams,
Didn't Army miss another Sam?
No morals, no ethics no, no set accountability,
And we boast off our nuclear ability,
When a country is shadowed with black clouds,
Nobody is safe, don't preserve any doubt,
Neglect the reckoning call of your soil,
How will you escape from  clutches of turmoil?
Ignore, escape and don't care a bit ,
Sooner or later you will sink with it,
Don't rise coz it needs strong feet,
Don't speak coz you are enjoying the treat,
The treat called 'freedom' bestowed on us,
We promised for better but made it worst,
They starved and died so that we could be freed,
But freedom is free for you and me,
With bleeding heart and tears in her eyes,
Seeing your ignorance, it's hope which dies....

Varanasi Blast: Another Cowardice Act

Varanasi Blast: Another Cowardice Act

“You break my mosque, I will blast your temple, and in this way we will be the saviors of our respective religions. Let the innocent lives die, our religion should live anyhow.”

This mentality drives some incurable minds to carry out terrorist attacks and the latest instance is-Varanasi blast. Terror revisited Varanasi on Tuesday, December 7, when a powerful blast shattered crowded Shitala Ghat leaving 2 people killed and more than 30 injured.  The attack, took place at 6:35pm at Shitala Ghat, next to Old Dasaswamedh Ghat just as the Maha Ganga aarti begun. The city was already under red alert because of the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary a day earlier. But even the ‘red alert’ could not save the innocent people who were present there to offer their prayers to Ganga maiiyaa.
The Indian Mujahedeen has claimed responsibility for the wicked act in an email sent to some media outlets. The mail was sent from Malad in Mumbai. The mail has attacked Allahabad high court verdict on Ram Mandir- Babri Masjid dispute as well. The Police also recovered 2 unexploded improvised explosive devices suggesting a serial blast. They chose Tuesday as it is considered to be the most auspicious day for all major temples in Varanasi and attracts lots of devotees. The twin blasts in the year 2006 at Sankatmochan Mandir were also carried out on a Tuesday.
Among the dead is a 2year old Swastika Sharma. Swastika’s mother took her to the Shitala Mata Mandir on her second birthday to pray for her long life but it proved to be the last day of her life. Do these terrorists have the courage to face that inconsolable mother who has lost her baby on her birthday? And if they could, they are certainly not human. Another deceased person was an Italian tourist. Again a dark Tuesday for the humanity that engulfed a few lives for no valid reason. Again hatred overflowed and tried to destroy the holiness of a holy place.
The whole country is put under high alert. This attack was an alarm for the government and security agencies which forces them to wake up now. It is a question mark on the exact meaning of ‘high alert’ itself for the concerned authorities. Does the government want to convey its inability to take care of the common people by calling ‘high alert’? Why there is no set accountability from anyone? Shall we keep on facing attacks in future and start accepting it as our fate? Hadn’t people had it enough and the government should stop checking out the patience of the common people? Why there is no value of life in this country? This is the time for the government to realize that it is unacceptable and people are not going to live with it any further.
Religion, being a very sensitive issue, is a strong institution as well for inculcating faith among the people. But unfortunately, religion is been on and off used, misinterpreted and disgraced by some cowards to divide people. As Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes-Religion is to do right. It is to love, it is to serve, it is to think, and it is to be humble. Most importantly, religion is to be human .No religion justifies the killing of innocent and no religion is above humanity. This cowardice act is just an example that how religious extremism tries to hamper the growth and brotherhood within a country. But it will fail as it had always. Despite of IM taking the responsibility of Varanasi attack killing a small girl, people are showing their solidarity that deserves appreciation. This is also a message for those brain-washed inhuman people that love is stronger than hatred. So, it would be better if they put down their cruel swords and see that India is much bigger than their baseless and self-centered ideologies.

A Dream Unaccomplished!!!!

Till  single tummy starves for food,
And children are deprived of school,
Till a girl child cries at a room's corner,
And lovers are lynched in the name of honour,
Till corruption prevails & talent is ignored,
Youth is unemployed & jobs aren't procured,
When democracy is a subject of mockery,
And devils in white are roaming free,
Till rich rules and poor is oppressed,
And problems of 'common' remain unaddressed,
Till we know our rights but not duties,
Taking freedom for granted fall prey to alibis,
Till the country is marred with lunatic leaders,
Who sell the nation being self-feeders,
Till  YOUTH don't rise to take the charge,
And show their integrity for the people at large,
Till business of terror is not finished,
My Dream India is Unaccomplished.....!!!

Instant Dealing With A Failure!

Today it was someone else's time, tomorrow it will be yours. Needless to say , success and failure are the two faces of the coin termed as Life!
We are delighted when we succeed but what when confronted by a failure? It's our obvious reaction to welcome success and unwelcome the setbacks. My question here is why don't we learn instant dealing with a failure and try to embrace it gracefully?
It may need a small commitment from our side but it certainly is possible.

There is a belief that governs my life's philosophy- "The ultimate purpose of this life bestowed on us is to be a better person with each passing day"
Now, how could I become a better person if I smile from heart when i receive what I want but cry aloud at a small defeat or disappointment????
What's our instant reaction when being fired, separated, bankrupted, faced by market shifts or lost a relationship????
Why is it too difficult to smile and come out through these exits?

Many people blame me for being extremely optimistic and say- "It may sound good but is against human nature or it is not practical"....
I just want to ask one question to them-"what the hell is human nature?"
Human nature is what you made out of yourself. Earlier it was a human nature to kill their own species for food. Haven't we evolved since then? Then why can't we evolve as a person? Why don't we become responsible towards our lives?
Take the charge of your life and make yourself believe that "it's my life and I chose to smile at it....."

We worsen our problems by taking them too seriously. Here, I must make this clear that I am not a supporter of IGNORANCE. I just want to convey that
attack your problem & find a solution but carry a smile on your face and unburden your heart while doing so. When you can find something funny in your circumstances, you can make your exit gracious...Try it!

Our life is a wheel with different spokes. Don't lose on it when a spoke is broken. Concentrate on the spokes still left. Always remember,
You might be defeated temporarily but your soul becomes unconquerable once you learn to laugh when a spoke of life is broken!

Just Keep pushing, keep working, keep believing & keep smiling......

ENJOY BEING ALIVE!!!
